Ryan Kaufman

As an advisor, Ryan Kaufman focuses on educating families and individuals on how to minimize, or even eliminate, taxes on retirement income. By transitioning client assets into a tax-free investment vehicle, clients can obtain control and flexibility to maximize their financial freedom.

The financial services industry often places too much emphasis on accumulation and growth while neglecting such principles as sustainability, protection and the role taxes play in retirement. Protecting your money while still being able to access it when needed is something Ryan truly values. He has seen first-hand the need to access emergency funds while maintaining the opportunity to grow and maximize retirement savings. A family's stress level rises when using emergency funds creates added expenses from taxes and penalties.

Ryan was a full-scholarship, Division I, soccer player at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he earned a BA in Communication/Media Studies. A multi-sport athlete, Ryan was a 6A Kansas State tennis champion at Blue Valley Northwest in 2002 which led to a professional tennis career for seven years. He also served as a coach at The Sagemont Academy in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he guided the team to a Florida state championship. After many years away from his hometown of Kansas City, Ryan is excited to be back.
